The service

The HIPAA Binder is a documentation tool. It turns your answers into policies, plans, forms and registers based on HHS model documents, NIST guidance and Minnesota statute, and tells you what is still missing. It is not legal advice, and it does not by itself make you compliant: compliance comes from adopting, following and maintaining the documents.

Ordering

Your quote is an offer. You accept it by approving the QuickBooks estimate we send; we then invoice you. Your license starts when the invoice is paid and runs for one year. Renewals are optional and priced at half of the first-year package price for the same package, plus any annual add-ons you choose.

Your responsibilities

Give truthful answers; keep your sign-in private; remove people who leave your practice; and do not enter or upload patient information. You are responsible for adopting and following the policies in your binder.

Your documents

The binder generated for you is yours to use, edit and keep for your practice. The software, templates and wording belong to CRU Technologies and may not be resold.

Availability and limits

We work to keep the portal available and your data safe, but we provide it as is. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the current license year.

Cancellation

You can stop renewing at any time; your existing editions remain downloadable for the retention period described in the privacy notice.
